Reiki - Flow of Universal Life Force EnergyReiki has almost become synonymous with Energy Healing. It is wonderful to recognize that many people, hospitals and healing centers are utilizing Reiki as a recognized self-healing modality. The self-healing can only occur as the client opens and receives the Reiki energy flowing through the practitioner, who acts as a conduit for this universal life force energy.
Barbara testifies to the power of just being open to Reiki as a healing tool by her own profound experience with Reiki - her first experience with energy healing! In the 1990s Barbara was still suffering from the physical burden of toxic heavy metal poisoning, after having been misdiagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis for over 15 years. With infection raging unchecked throughout her entire body, she chose to be open to a different kind of healing - Reiki. A friend had just become a Reiki Master and had told Barbara that Reiki "promoted healing." In a moment of in-Spirit communication, she called the friend for help. What proceeded was a dramatic experience of energy flowing throughout her body, a flood of emotions and a sense that God was urging her to receive this blessing. This was the experience that forever changed the trajectory of her life. The next morning as the heat was surging in her own hands and her body was a-lit with a fire from within, God whispered these assurances to her... "God is love, God is love, God is love." Knowing this was a gift from God, Barbara passionately pursued her own Reiki practice and is thrilled to now teach this beautiful modality to others. Reiki truly opens the door for self-healing, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually! |
